From my sketchbook!

Here is an image I have had bouncing around in my sketchbook for years.

It finally made it to paint! Don't know what the story is yet - still working on that but more works to come.

I really appreciate how smoothly and logically everything was presented here. It made understanding the subject so much easier. For anyone who enjoys this style of clear, helpful writing, suhanz.com is definitely worth checking out for more high-quality material.

What creates intimacy on Nehamari is how little it asks of me. I’m not pushed toward decisions or outcomes. I’m allowed to notice how I feel, to slow down when I need to, and to continue only when it feels natural. That freedom builds quiet trust.

I opened ankitabasu late in the afternoon, that slow part of the day when nothing feels urgent. I wasn’t trying to escape anything, just filling a quiet gap. The page didn’t demand movement or decisions. I stayed sitting back in my chair, letting my eyes drift across the screen without effort. I didn’t feel pulled forward or held back. It felt fine to stay, fine to leave. That balance made the moment feel calm, like time wasn’t being measured while I was there.
