Insider's Scoop
One of my favorite illustrations in this book is of Mr. McBee finding the lion outside the library looking in through the doors. The reflection in the glass lets the viewer see the lion’s expression and although it was not mentioned in the text, I decided to make it rain. There is nothing sadder than a wet cat!!
